It all begins with the reception of your damaged parts; they will be recorded, identified and inspected according to application. Then comes time for cleaning, we have different method of cleaning: sand blast cleaning, pressure vapor cleaning and also the most popular: Typhoon (cleaning unit with systematic cycles of grease-removing soap and decontaminating acids at temperatures around 180*F).
The parts are then clean and without residues, therefore ready for the inspection and the detection of the cracks by the following: magnaflux powder (inspection with magnetic powder particles for ferrous parts), penetrant/developer (inspection by penetrating liquids and developer for the nonferrous parts), the ultrasound inspection as well as the x-ray inspection.
Taking the dimensions of the parts is carried out with tools gauged at the fine point of technology; the exactitude of dimensions is for us a priority. The original tolerances are respected. The machining of the repaired parts is carried out directly in our workshops.
After cleaning, dimensions taken, the crack inspection done, a verbal or written quote is emitted according to your requests. You can be assured that no work will be carried out without your authorization.
