In 1953 M. Patrick Champigny realized that there was a need for his knowledge in specialized welding services, a welding machine in the trunk of his taxi and the patience of his supportive wife, United Welding Processes was born. 50 years later, the second and third generations of Champigny's are still at work, keeping in mind the base of it all, the founder's revolutionary technological welding processes. As of today we are still innovating in the best and newest welding processes whether it's in Montreal or our Toronto branch.
